it's gotten to the point that normal people like you or me can provide accurate, on the spot news faster then the "media".
anyone can pick up a camera when an event happens, everyone can upload a youtube video.
half the time the best footage aired is bought from people who were there at the right time.
Then the event is discussed by people all over the world with different opinions. Which I find far more engaging and informing then a face reading from a teleprompter

It's usually way warmer here by now. The buds on the trees are usually swollen and getting ready to bloom. Instead, it was even -20 today. Brrrrrr.
