Great posts m8 - quick question, from your perspective, is being conscience a by-product of an unaware universe? If so what is your opinion on the argument of the 'button push'? Was it better to push the button and have life, with suffering, or never to have existed at all? PS I want to leave all Gods etc out of this question. I would be interested in your opinion :D

@SolRosenberg84 ok so why is it that you assume that just because you believe that there was intelligence at the beginning of whatever it was that caused creation that you MUST believe that it had to be "God". There are other theories and beliefs besides the big bang theory and Christianity.

What is the most common question asked my infants when and adult explains something?- "Why" The adult to infant conversation can be long process as it is human nature to ask "why."
Children act on instict alone in their early years until they are moulded my their parents and environment.

Oh, I've been there too. Interestingly enough, I remember reading the book of a stroke victim who had a very similar experience during the onset of a stroke in her left hemisphere. Perhaps this experience of viewing your own body as a strange thing has something to do with increased activity in the right hemisphere of the brain?
