I am awed by you and this song. I have another friend of mine who plays guitar and we are going to do it in church with a choir of men. It should be great. I have watched your video over an over to get it down. The Lord will bless someone for sure!

That is beautiful, and it's good to hear this hymn sung with the lyrics so clearly highlighted. I've just heard the story of how Charles Wesley wrote it while an Irish farmer's wife was hiding him from his pursuers... it was written while hiding in a cowbarn, and later in a ditch under a hedge. The farmer's wife was trying to calm down and distract his pursuers, at the same time keeping him safe from harm. Her descendants still live in that house today.
