@Rekliob I take it you didn't listen to the album. If you we're to understand it, you'd realize that most of the tracks within the album have a concept to it; human fears. One such example is "Waiting for the End": fear of the end of something important. A relationship, something that one loves, or even the 'end of the world'. Fear of machines/technology, nuclear war, and fear of never being the same. If thou does not understand; pitch.

@Lilz719 You may of heard this many times over, but what do you mean? This came out around the same time as A Thousand Suns. So you asking this question is a bit senseless :p Just beacuse A Thousand Suns was a concept album, doesn't mean that's who they are entirely; they've "changed" before, haven't they? Why wouldn't they do it again? Of course they will. They had questionnaire's on their website for fans to put in feedback for their next album. With that said, i bet many wanted the old sound
