Between Mason City and Clear Lake in Iowa, there is a small railroad museum slowly building up to becoming a must see for historians. The Iowa Trolley Park currently has a humble collection, including a PCC car, a Soo Line caboose, a hand car, a speeder, a 127 year old tender, and a Plymouth.
The future attraction is a project that has been going on for over 10 years now: America's next new steam engine. Scheduled to debut in the next few years is a replica of Virginia & Truckee 2-6-0 #1, the "Lyon". The tender is nearing completion, and the boiler has been completed and awaits installation. The engine will slowly become complete in the next few years. Check out http://www.iowatrolleypark.org/ for more details.
Along with the "Lyon" project, visitors have the chance to run the park's Plymouth. Watch as the cameraman takes the Plymouth out around the loop of track

Excellent! Joneau, you should have your own RailFan Channel on DirectTV! :-) Loved the old equipment, the viewpoints, the fun of watching you at the controls and the big black dog who looks like a bear cub! LOL
