Rock Band 2 DLC: What a Horrible Night To Have A Curse (Guitar) - 231,371 98% GS

A new pack of very challenging metal DLC was just released this week, so I thought I'd get in on the action. Here's one of the songs in said pack, The Black Dahlia Murder's "What a Horrible Night To Have A Curse."

Anybody who has played Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest will recognize the name of the song, taken straight from a line from the game.

This song gave me a hard time on my sightread, until I learned that I could strum through the gaps in the triplets. Now, it's just second nature. Timing window exploitation for the win!

The only thing stopping me from an FC on this song is the two fast strumming sections (before the solo and before the outro). Once I memorize them, I'm sure I could FC this. I'll keep working on it.

So far I've only bought this song and Slayer's "Black Magic", but I only have enough space on my SD card for one. I might re-download and do a video for Black Magic later.

@Lowprofile91 Yeah that is what i use, but i still feel the notes dont get hit as cleanly on RB as they do on GH, Rock Bands drums work perfectly, just as Guitar Heros guitar works perfectly. Its just not the same. They really need to just combine the 2 since they both are the exact same thing...
