@williamtheconcreter I once was talking to a guy who told me that Veruca Salt in the original Willy Wonka movie was played by Fairuza Balk, and that is why her character was named after her, and when I told him that wasn't so, he told me "Look, you're a pretty nice guy, but I'm 100% right, trust me." Also, in 1998 a man strangled his wife to death in an argument about whether the Blair Witch Project was real footage or not ( he thought it was).
