I would go with something used for a year or two until you know exactly what you want. New year is great, but spendy, and being a college student you might as well save your money for jumps :) That's what I did. Then, 2 years into the sport I bought new.

Hey Zabrina,
I checked out your subscriptions and saw some videos of you freeflying at Baldwin. Nice!
That is what I want to pursue this summer. Also looking into getting my first rig. Any suggestions on how to go about it. I am looking at Wings container with Aerodyne Triathalon main at the moment.

I just started jumping this summer. I will be out in Perris Valley in Feb doing some wind tunnel and coaching.
