Let's ban all the guns, and have military+police check points all over the country. Then, we can truely live in a SAFE AND SECURE society.

Washington, D.C., a handgun ban went into effect during 1977, and after 29 years of the ban D.C.'s murder rates have ranked second among the 50 largest cities for 15 years.
President Obama's gun control policies are ineffective. In almost every case where handgun bans have been implemented, murder rates have risen. With overwhelming evidence the question must now be asked, why ignore the facts any longer?

Why do they need a complete outlawing of guns?

If Obama makes it to office and tries to restrict my Bill of Rights, they can come get them. I will shoot at any government official trying to disarm me. There should be not doubt at all about the nature of the 2nd Amd, just look at Lexington and Concord in the Rev. War. Individual citizens with personally owned firearms stood up against a tyranical government. That's all the proof you need right there, you can't take down a corrupt gov't if the gov't only has the guns. No self defence either!

A lot's happened since then. I still have my firearms and I won't give them up. In my opinion the Bill of Rights, especially the 2nd Amendment, is one of the few things still keeping this country at the roots of what it is. The times may change, but the Bill of Rights, our heritage, the God-given right to life (and the preservation of it), and the spirit of the people are what keeps America what it is.
