The Pogues - Streets of Sorrow/Birmingham Six Lyrics

This is the sixth in a series of simple music videos that include the lyrics to some of the best Pogues songs. The Pogues play traditional Irish music with influences from punk rock. While the actual sound of this music is outstanding, the lyrics are normally incredible and the work of a genius, Shane MacGowan. However many people, particularly those from outside of Ireland, sometimes struggle to make out these excellent lyrics. This series of videos aims to provide these lyrics and hopefully enhance everyones enjoyment of this superb music even further.

Right - it's actually two songs combined; "Streets of Sorrow" written and sung by Terry Woods (also an original member of Steeleye Span, BTW), and "Birmingham Six" by and sung by Shane.
