MrIslam, Have you at least taken the time to read the answers to the book you are reading? Ie. The Case for the Real Jesus?

If that uninspired book is wrong (and there is very good chance it is) consider that you are placing your very faith and eternal soul into those false teachings.

Consider the inspired Scriptures. Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6, etc. which plainly teach the eternal nature and deity of the son.

@formeragnostic WHAT?! I have not read the case for the real Jesus, so your assumption is wrong. Micah 5:2 is not about the Son. Jesus was not the ruler of israel as 5:2 says that person would be. Instead in Jesus time the Romans ruled. Isaiah 9:6 is not about the Son either. Jesus had no government on his shoulders, Jesus says the father is greater than him so he cant be the everlasting Father. Jesus says he has a God in john 20:17 so he cant be the mighty God. So consider this instead.
