Warren Haynes Band debut performance "Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley" (Robert Palmer) @ Warren Haynes Xmas Jam 2010 with Ron Holloway - sax, Ivan Neville, Ruthie Foster, Andy Farag on drums. Warren does his best Lowell George impersonation. http://www.warrenhaynes.net/home.html; http://www.xmasjam.com/2010/; http://www.ashevillehabitat.org/

  • I've never known a band that I wanted to like more, but they just keep disappointing. Horrible sound and never any connection to audience. But I still love WH, is that wrong? weird?

  • Ugh, Ron Holloway's playing really bothers me.

  • Change is good and WHB is great.

  • @squabs217 have you heard Hattiesburg Shuffle?I just heard it today- it's awesome-better songwriting, in my opinion-but thats just me-

  • Robert Randolph would be awesome in some WHB songs

  • @JACOMAQUEO

I gave WHB another shot at Wanee ... my opinion hasn't changed at all .

  • I'm sure it's a matter of taste..I like Warren who ever he plays with. I am sorta partial to ABB when he's with Derek and Co. This song, though I like it more up tempo like Palmer did it. Peace y'all!!

  • @squabs217 Totally in agreement. Matt Abs, as Warren has told many times, is the "one and only Matt". Yes, I'm not impressed with Ivan Neville and when he was opening for Gov't Mule it was really, really boring.

  • I'll admit , I'm not crazy about change . Especially when it involves sidelining Mule for the better part of 2011 . I'm trying to give WHB a fair chance , but thus far , I find it really boring . I've heard a lot about Higgins on drums , but from what I've seen he couldn't tote Abts' stick bag .

  • beautiful song, but first Mule was better:-(
