@FrenchButterToast - There are few things that sound better than a Strat straight into one of George Alessandro's amps. But guitar players like their gain toys, and as such things go, the 8823 is pretty cool. Thanks to AlterGTR for the demo! Now I don't know whether to look for one of these, or a regular Eternity.

it sounds soo much better without that pedal.its actually very cool sounding--without the pedal!

..well i think this pedal is in the tubescreamer realm: it boosts the mids. so at bedroom levels the bass is reduced and indeed the sound suffers a bit. but at gig levels it sounds just right. i was trying to show the pedal functions, gain and all..
