@808Kameleon my new barrel is stainless steel 6.03mm, i heard all KWA RIS weapons (M4, SR-10 SR-12) come stock with a 6.02mm brass inner barrel. but yes I would like to change the hop up too, my G&G Bucking doesn't fit.

@808Kameleon hey im planning on trying to get the KWA SR-10. I'm going to replace the gears with Deepfire titanium gears. the gears aren't proprietary, right?

@ECHO7AIRSOFT Truthfully, you do NOT have to change your gears! So far, after aproaching one year, I NEVER had any problems with the gearbox! ONLY the motor. But now, both motor and gearbox are working fine, especially our recent big game here in Hawaii. The gears, as I was told is not proprietary. The only thing I will change out in the future is the cylinder, cylinder head, and piston. I will keep using KWA gears, and the nozzle is proprietory. I will concider the hop up change MAYBE.

@808Kameleon yeah my hop up problem was fixed it shoots straight now. maybe i'll save the deepfire gears for my CQB weapon.

@ECHO7AIRSOFT Sounds good! I am so well pleased with the quality of the KWA gearbox. The only thing I would change, as mentioned before. The cylinder, cylinder head, and the piston, if it should finally break. And possibly the hop-up chamber, and the inner barrel to stainless steel.

Great video, I just have a question, what parts of the gearbox are propriatary? I opened mine up and saw that my sector gear had a missing tooth so I dropped in a classic army one and it seems to work fine now.

@NotTheUsualChoice Great job! You can swap out gears, piston, and piston head or replace the cylinder, as far as I know. The only thing proprietary are the hopup, and nozzle. I will do a video much later when I replace my cylinder, piston, piston head, and cylinder head, and a new spring.
