@MrHandyronny yes it is a bamboo flute Hendy. It is not tuned perfectly, but for a flute bought in a souvenir shop it's not too bad. For me the most interesting thing is that it works the same as a tin whistle, but you have to hold it like a side flute. You just have to put your mouth on the hole and blow to make it sound, you don't need to do the special technique for a normal side flute. I don't know in Indonesia, but here in Europe is quite strange to see.

Is that a bamboo flute?
I do have some vertical bamboo flutes (Indonesian made) but they're all suck..
The're not well-piched and the sound is not as loud as tin whistles ;-)
