@Thamin Hi, the gazal you have mentioned here, was penned by shabad Merathi. He had some clerical post at Meerut College, when i was a grad student over there. wonder where he is now. He had great promise.

About Phir Wahi Talaash, the tilte song's lyrics are " Kabhi haadson ki dagar mile kabhi mushkilon ka saffar mile, yeh charrag hain meri raah ke mujhay manzilon ki talaash hai mujhay manzilon ki talaash hai"
The lead characters are Padma and Narendra. Padma is from a rich family and Narendra is a bright student from the village..the story is about them

Alok's brother survives but is crippled; he is completely broken and Moushmi does not continue hwe marriage with him; finally he becomes a sadhu, he preaches in a room and that is where Alok nath finally finds him. Of course Moushmi leads Alok Nath to his brother, she still takes care of him. The whole serial is about this story. BTW Moushmi's is called the "sadika" and i am talking about Moushmi Chatterjee here

Yes this serial is "Talaash". Moushmi Chatterjee marries Alok nath's brother, but her father, a haughty thakur shoots himself. Moushmi's sister commits adultery with Moushmi's husband (she always addresses him him Noor e nazzar invites him to dinner once and gets him drunk) to exact revenge for her father's death. Moushmi is shocked and shouts 'hai koi jo mujhay in dono say mukti dila de". Moushmi's driver touches her feet and then drives Moushmi's sister and her husband off the mountain.
