This is dedicated to the firefighters who lost their lives on 06/18/07 while fighting a fire at the Sofa Super Store in Charleston, South Carolina. These brave men responded without knowing it'd be their last time doing what they loved.

first of im ex fire fighter and know carlston was lacken and if it the cops up there stupid and if there i would been one of the fallen nine because i would not let them go back in after that

@Iligano you may be a firefighter but you are wrong on many counts one person resigned there job and a new training recruit class was put into effect that last 22 weeks if you are going to state fact please be right Brandon and Micheal were both capts in my dept i am 10 miles outside of Charleston my chief is a capt for them and 3 LTs are firefighters for them and my batt chief is in the training div so please dont talk about things you know nothing about

@dominicansteel I AM a fire fighter, and know all about the amazing lack of training and leadership the Charleston FD was under at the time of this incident. Even a kid can figure out that when an entire roof is on fire, and no persons are in the building, you always attack from the outside using trucks.. Send in 9 men into a strip mall full of cloth and other noxious materials? Only if you work for a bunch of idiots! The brass were ALL fired here, and everyone was sent back for training

@ILIGANO that is pretty disrespectful and i do not take that lightly i lost so many friends in many fires i am not a fire fighter but i am going to be one, i am an EMT so i hear what they get dispatched to you need to reevaluate yourself sir/ ma'am
