Amazed by the sound and the appearance. Pure, clean surface. the Hats just Smooth and crisp, Loud kinda trashy Crash and a very solid ride with LOUD clean bell sound. Nice!!

can somebody please tell me if the metals still have a good sound in real life cause i play the rocks but they are not that loud for me so im curious if that would be good.

@paulvenkman Paiste? Harsh? Definitely not. To my ears, they're the nicest sounding of all. Zildjian and Sabian have unpleasant overtones, and while the initial hits are good sounding, the decay of their cymbals sound AWFUL with almost everything I've heard from them (Though there are exceptions with each; A Custom and HHX Evolution come to mind). Paiste just doesn't have that issue, even the mid range stuff like Alpha sounds quite good comparatively. And yeah, I own five Paistes :D

I've heard comments stating that Paiste cymbals unlike most cymbal companies the tones and sounds heard are harsh. Do any drummer who own paiste want to comment about this?
