As Revel Casino prepares to enter Atlantic City, New Jersey in 2011, city officials are trying to improve the area surrounding the building. One proposal involves tearing down a section of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, between Melrose and Caspian Avenues. Press of Atlantic City digital reporter Dan Good spoke to residents -- who are torn as to what the city should do with the dilapidated structure.

  • What a disgrace. I was born and raised across the street from this section of boardwalk and it was a great location. It could be one of the real GEMS of Atlantic City....but city officials can't see it.

  • What a disgrace! Atlantic City officials should be ASHAMED by letting this 'jewel' fall into the sea.
