RGU 2009 Stage 3 - Spiral Pump - Group 1

Just finished this as a group project for my Mechanical Engineering degree from the Robert Gordons University. The design is based on a spiral pump and the flow tank is set at 0.5m/s at roughly 100-150mm depth. The Jet of water reached anything from 600mm to 1500mm. We managed to be in the top 3 of 10 groups.

Hey, nice wheel. I was wondering if you had equations for the spiral pump having to do with;

pressure

and speed of water

hose interior diameter

# of loops and diameter of loops
