The Howe name was once great, known across Ferelden as honorable stewards of their lands and protectors of their people's freedom. But then Arl Rendon Howe betrayed the teyrn of Highever, assumed a title that did not belong to him, threw his lot in with a regicide, and was slain for his deeds. And yet he was the lucky one. He did not live to see his surname dragged through the mud, his family stripped of titles and lands. It is Rendon's son Nathaniel who has suffered for the sins of his father. He has been left with nothing, a pariah forced to live by wits alone. All he knows is that the father he loved is dead by a Grey Warden's hand and that those murderers have now installed themselves in his childhood home. Join us at http://facebook.greywardens.com

  • I did Threaten Rendon Howe that I will kill his family, those were the last words before I ram my sword through his chest...If his son decides to follow his father's footsteps then by my warden and family's oath; he will reach the very same end. If not, then welcome to the order.

  • I love Nathanial hes the best in my party for DPS, I have him on rapid shot with Howe Bow and he does around 97-111 per hit

  • I love him :) :D

  • @MainHeretic I offered to conscript him and he said he'd rather hang, so I obliged him. He cared so much about his home and family that he was off in the marches for 8 years. Piss on him.

  • Remember when Howe's men mercilously killed your nephew (human noble) and even old Nan. (not even mentioning the hot elf chick that spent the night with you) I'd wipe out his whole family if given the chance.

  • I had Nathaniel executed.

Now I kinda feel bad about it, but I truly saw no other suitable way to react since my character was Human Noble.

I mean, sure, I can let him go and we can become friends, but, seriously, those guys murdered my character's family. Since I kinda want to find a balance between roleplaying and just gaming, I thought that another rogue wasn't worth it anyway (I'm a rogue) plus it seemed appropriate given my character's origin so... poor Nathaniel was hanged.

  • Howe???? holy shit

  • 0:17 pause and spot some one u know

  • 0:18 pause and spot some one u know

  • will nathaniel come back if u let him go?

  • Being a Cousland Warden... I got my revenge by killing Arl Howe. I conscripted Nathaniel, and he proved to be so different from Rendon Howe. In a sense, he became the companion with the most approval once he found out his father's evil deeds.

Awakening definitely is a game for Human Noble wardens.

  • It's so HARD to refrain from killing this guy. It's not his actions or the fact that he's related to Arl Howe... it's the fact that he idolises him still... after everything that happened in DA:O it's unbelievably difficult to listen to this guy spouting off and not killin him for supporting a monster. Even Loghain was easier to spare than this guy.
