As for the Miss USA contest, her bigotry would most certainly disqualify her as an ambassador for the America people.

The hidden and unbecoming activities in her past would disqualify Carrie from enjoying good standing in many Christian congregations.

She's not a good Christian, but she is religious by all means. Religion is full of bigotry and being Christian is Christ-like correct. Whether it's augmenting the body God gave her, posing nude, wearing slutty/sexy Halloween costumes or her newly revealed raunchy sex tape, nothing she says hold weights. At the end of the day she is nothing but a plastic beauty queen who mispoke at her pageant(which is common) and most importantly a hypocrite.

Pageants have a role in society. They did well in helping the contestants for years. Some good people came out of them. But since Tara Conner, they have got nothing but bad press with some scandal after another and lower ratings. Carrie is a nice woman, but the fact is that she added to the bad image this year of them. Some good people too many to mention like say anchor Robin Mead and actress Cybill Shepard were in pageants.
