Grand Canyon Hike Oct 2011

We went on a 31 mile hike in the Grand Canyon. We started from Hermit's Rest, down to Hermit Creek, over to Monument Creek, to Indian Gardens, then out on Bright Angel Trail. Great time, but I'm loosing 2 toenails.

Wow, what a fantastic video. The scenery and wildlike were awesome (esp. the rattlesnake). And you even mentioned Patrick McManus; my dad was a big fan of his! My son and I have done the South Kaibab - Bright Angel loop, but I'd love to try this hike some day myself. Thanks for sharing!

@hallard069 The tarp worked fine. No problems with bugs or snakes. At one of the camp sites, my tarp was pointed in the wrong direction and acted like a sail rather than a shelter.

Back in 1993 me and my muther lived in AZ for 1 year and a 1/2 grayt plays never had the chans to see the gran canyon.nice video thanks for shareing.Good times

Great video. Silly question but how did the tarp work out compared to the tents? Oh, how did the guys arm turn out? That looked pretty beat up.
