@jwpublisher1 I don't think it's me who's "missed a big truth". Note that the Scriptures teach that from "that day forward" Jehovah's spirit was with David. NEVER once can it be shown that Jah ever abandoned David. Even while being spirit directed David committed a gross error. That's the point. Being spirit directed doesn't give anyone a cloak of infallibility. David's account shows that. Now that I've clarified my point, perhaps you can comment on it.

The excuse the Jw's use about their mistakes being because of imperfect men is easilly blown out of the water! Just bring to their attention how the prophets such as Isaiah and Jeremiah were imperfect yet did any of their prophecies fail?

@WomboDK The term "New Light" is not in the bible. God does not send New Light, he sends the Same Light all the time. I think the problem with Jehovah Witnesses is that they trutly do not fear Jehovah. How about the 144,000 the bible says Jehovah chooses and seals these men during the Great Tribulation soley to protect them from the plauges of tribulation. When will the Watchtower get New Light and honor Jehovah by saying that he is true when he says he will seal them during tribulation?

First, God is not the ruler of this world, the Devil is and does the Devil want us to learn His word? No. Second, they're human. Yes, everyone says this but that's because it is true. No one man can completely understand the Bible, regardless of the translation, thus why we have Bible studies and regular service meetings to understand it. And third, every Bible has a mistake except the original Bible. Not all words in Hebrew translate to English so no one translated Bible is 100% correct.

@nelsnoje They may have had Jehovah's blessing at one time, but do you honestly think that if they started down the wrong path they would keep Jehovah's blessing? Have they been right since? Don't you wonder about all the facts, and secrets, and documents and stuff coming to the surface? Could it be possible, that Jehovah is bringing all this to light, to expose them? We have always been told, Jehovah will sort it out. Could it be possible He is doing just that?

I appreciate your question and the answers previously given by our other brothers is in-part the same answer I would give. I would only add that the Bible reveals that "new light" would be shown and improvements would be made through his "spirit-anointed" organization. I do not mean to 'diss' most other faiths, but I do not recall any other religion trying to make spiritual advancement. In fact, lowering their standards by taking God's name, Jehovah, out of their Bibles. Thank you again and rep

@WomboDK The Watchtower has come up with their own meaning of the passage of scripture regarding a righteous man's path gets brighter, to be a total excuse for their mistakes. This is not what that passage refers to, it refers to the life of a righteous man reflects more of Christ as he grows closer to Christ. This is the "milk" and "meat" that the Apostle Paul refers to, we start out with the basics (milk) and as we grow closer to HIM we can have the "meat". A typical Watchtower twist!

@WomboDK You are very naive regarding other religions, and the Watchtower wants you that way. That is why you are forbidden to attend my church to see for yourself (another one of the Watchtower's "SINS" that you can be disfellowshipped for). If you attended my church, The Assembly of God (which, by the way, is growing much faster than your organization worldwide) you would see a deep desire of our people to draw closer to Jehovah and to be like Christ Jesus. We study the Word Of Jehovah!
