the worst part beyond the damage he is causing is our justice system in time would award his with a healthy settlement if he nuked himself good and went to the hospital.

These worthless sacks of shit have ground our local metro system to a halt numerous times. The scrap dealers should be closed down who deal with them. And these scumbags have the book thrown at them. Make the punishment WORSE than the crime to STOP them.

unreal...

He's cute enough to know that the High Voltage side needs to be left alone. I'd guess that he knows that stealing the 120 volt earth and neutral cables is relatively low risk. Lock him up and throw away the key as stealing the Protective Conductor (earth) is liable to get innocent people killed.

No matter why he's doing this, I don't wish ill to him. However, I *do* hope he gets caught, not only for the sake of others his actions affect but for him too because one of these days if he doesn't stop, he will be vaporized. Electricity is no respecter of persons....

Unfortunately, the deprivety of the human spirit is the Entertainment Value here! Peers & Public alike win! Hopefully the guy got help & recognized his personal idiocy & is working diligently to pay his debt to whomever he affected and has become a better-thinking person now. A good 'ole limb-sear would have admittedly added drastically to the EV, though!

These guy have no idea what danger they put themselves in. How stupid.

i only liked it to help support the stop of it, plus all of this should of killed him for the only fact of high voltage. and by this i do not impose to do such a thing or have other people do the same he has done.
Usually videos featuring electrocution have that communicated in the title somewhere. This guy cut all the grounds and neutrals for copper scrap value. He caused about $3500 in damage for about $60 worth of copper and he had done this twice before, this being the third and final effort. This video was circulated amongst the local scrap dealers and led to an arrest and conviction. I uploaded this video as a convenient way of sharing with my peers. Not so much for entertainment value.
