Marc Houle Live @ Footwork/Platform, Toronto (02.07.09) Part 3

An intimate look at techno producer and performer, Marc Houle, taking control of Footwork with a thick, pounding and abstract live set. The party people came for a beat down and that's exactly what they received - hard ass techno with a distinctly m_nus flavor.
His set pushed the limits of minimal techno with piercing, sustained builds, seemingly random, squelching melody, super heavy basslines, and driving rhythm.
This clip took place towards the end of his set. We are treated to a live version of 'Techno Vocals' at 5:18. Footwork went a bit crazy when this one dropped.
I did my best with the audio. The footage is also quite dark.

He's using Ableton Live and another controller, the one with the flashing lights. I'm not sure what it is.
