Burkina Faso is the first African country committing itself to a nationwide campaign to vaccinate all of its children against meningitis. Children assisted by Compassion International are receiving an enhanced version of the vaccine, protecting them from more strains of the virus than what the government provides. With the campaign just starting, Compassion's children are among the very first in the country to receive this life-saving protection.
