googled "it's no secret" by the Jefferson Airplane, lyrics and chords learned it and recorded all the parts and made this movie from the handbills I got in the mail at my parents house in the 60s. I posted this 5 hours later. Forgive the rush.......LOL

When I was 15, I was in a rock band with some high school friends. I was the drummer and the two guitar players were taking lessons from a guy in Mill Valley named John Cipollina. At one point when we were struggling for a name for the band, he offered us the name he had been saving for his band. Months later, his new band was playing at the Fillmore, and he invited us to come and check them out. So that weekend the band members loaded into the bass players car, he was the only one who had a drivers license and off to San Francisco we went. To say the least, the Fillmore was a jaw dropping experience. The light show, the people dressed in outlandish costumes, black lights and body painting and the murals on the floor was a side to life Id never imagined. Then came the music. Quicksilver Messenger Service opened the show. They were fantastic and they gave us an idea of how the songs we were learning should be played. Then came the Jefferson Airplane. Maybe because they were a little louder or all the voices, or that amazing drummer, Skip Spence; but that performance of Its No Secret, crystallized that time and experience in my mind forever.
