SHANGHAI, China--Famous for textiles, Shanghai takes pride in its woven silk. At the JuLong Silk Exhibition Hall, workers show how silk is collected from its primary source: the silkworm. The process of producing woven silk from the cocoon to the painstaking task of turning them into handmade embroidery is explained here. Video taken by INQUIRER.net multimedia reporter Erika Tapalla.

    If you have ever consumed anything with red dye in it (I promise you have, every day most likely) you are eating boiled insect.

    Seals are predatory animals just like humans. They bite the heads off of baby birds. Just saying.
