Franz Schubert Piano Quintet in A Major ('Trout') D667. First 3 movements. Played by Laura Godberg, Julianne Lee, Luis Leguia, Lawrence Wolfe and Carmen Rodriguez-Peralta. The stringed instruments are all Luis & Clark Carbon Fiber including Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass.

Yes, acually thats why the guy started making them is because he noticed that sound waves bounced nicley off carbon fiber boats. Learned that on How its Made.

This is interesting, to say the least. I've heard very good things about instruments made with alternate materials, but I've never picked up anything that sounded great. The music stores I hit may not have had any really high end instruments. They sound great here, as far as I can tell!

Does carbon fiber vibrate better than wood. They sound good for baroque music. I just got done watch bach's cello suite being played on a carbon fiber viola.
