  • It's interesting that when Jeff secures the first wing bolt (at 4:41), he makes no mention that it didn't actually secure anything. I hope he found a longer bolt, or aligned the bolt in the hole before he let somebody fly it. Also, the gear doors should be on the OUTSIDE. He did it right first, then obviously changed his mind - mistake.

This is clearly a cheaply made model, and I frankly wouldn't buy it - pity though, as I had given some serious thought to it...

  • We all have different ideas on how things should be done. Equally, there are often a number of ways to do things, so what Jeff does isn't necessarily wrong - it just maybe isn't the way you or I would do it. I watch occasionally only, and not to see any new techniques as I've been building models for nearly 40 years. I mainly check them out to see the quality of the parts and assembly, and how it flies.

  • @startazz

I was wondering why he doesn't comment on NP videos anymore... but NP is still gullible/desperate/dumb enough to post his videos. Makes no sense to me.

I guess trolls will be trolls. It just sucks that he's not helping the hobby by giving people bad information.

  • @thechoosendude I agree 100% with your comment as i too use to get PM's off him too trying to cover up his mistakes making out i didn't know how to set up control throws and that he had to send PM's because NP stopped him commenting on there video's,when i made a few comments about how he had done something wrong he started to send me abusive PM's.

  • @thechoosendude I have seen Jeff fly and know quite a few people who have flown with him. Jeff spends a LOT of time helping a LOT of people and is having some health problems yeah, he is human after all. But misleading people ? Come on man seriously, WTH is that about? Besides, have you ever considered maybe NP doesn't want him demonstrating the flying? They have Tony for that if you had even looked at any other videos. I agree with the jealousy thing . : )

  • @thechoosendude Why do you feel the need to attack him? I am a pilot myself, I have been flying since the early 90's. I can not find anything wrong with what Jeff puts in his video's, they are his way of doing things.Maybe they are not your ways, SO WHAT. If you dont like his videos, dont watch! Your comment was uncalled for, he does exactly what NP askes him to do, he does not have to go out and throw a plane into the air, just to please you. I think your just jealous of his sponsorship.

  • @anderman72 You said: @thechoosendude Do you fly?

Yes... if you had taken the five seconds to click my channel you would've seen an answer. As for our friend Jeff, no he doesn't. A year ago Jeff sent me a PM about how he couldn't fly because he was waiting on eye surgery. Since that time he has done nothing but misinform people on general mechanics & talk about how he flies, when he doesn't. Experienced pilots complained, NP didn't listen. Now most experts don't even bother with NP.

  • looks ugly as fuck...

  • You missed an important step. One thing people often forget to do is remove the paint from the gluing surfaces. If you don't remove the paint then you really haven't made a good bond. The glue will be on the paint and not really stay where it is supposed to. This can cause a crash it the tail is not glued in properly...

  • myself I wouldn't have put the cable ties on until you centered the servo and control surfaces first.
