1A Auto shows you how to remove, install, repair, or replace your broken misfiring or damaged ignition coil on a 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0L. This coil will fit many 4.0L Ford vehicles within the 1991-2008 range including Aerostar, Explorer, Sport Trac, Mustang, Ranger, Taurus SHO, and Van. It will also fit 4.0L 1994-2008 Mazda Pickup and Navajo and 1998-2008 Mercury Mountaineer. Though the procedure may vary somewhat with different vehicles.
yeah its the spark plugs, is there any special way to change it, or is it possible to do it myself.

its a ford explorer v6 from the 1998, if what u told me is actually the proble, is it easy to eeplace?

@dannyven18 It would be fuel injected then, It wouldn't have a carburetor. You may want to change the fuel filter if it hasn't been done in a while. It could even be a dirty injector or possibly bad spark.

one question, every time i go to sleep and i start my car in the morning, it takes a long time for the car to actually stay on by itself, i have to step on the gas for about 2 min so the engine would stay on, what could be the problem?

@dannyven18 I'm not sure what year and type of car that it is, but if it's a car with a carburator, you may want to check the stove pipe that goes from the exhaust to the air filter. This provides heat to the carburetor on cold days to help it to warm up quickly.
