I had the same graphics card, had to turn everything to low put it in the lowest resolution and put it in a window... THAT'S HOW BAD IT IS!

I have 14" red sony vaio laptop i3-2310 with HD 3000 but too weak on BF3 laggy low FPS, only run fine old games BF2, TF2, CS:S, GTA:SA, HL2 & some more games high 40-80FPS.
I have bit old PC desktop (4 years old) - nvidia 8800GTX & Q6600 2.4GHz & 4Gb RAM all low setting & medium textures around 25-50FPS on BF3 run fine :).

That might be playable in singleplayer, but this much lag in mp will get you killed. Alot.

This video is made to show you how HD 3000 runs BF3... not to hate my computer and the IGPU in the comments. I have new video card and while i was with HD 3000 I wasn't playing BF3 at all. So the CPU didn't explode or "commit suicide", as I have read in the comments. Every thing is ok with the CPU.
