rule of thumb...under back...over forward ...third cut 1" from stem top down 45dedrees...also look at some of the professional clips on you tube and you'll learn quickly....sorry about your mishap and hope you are ok....

Seems a little saturated for video. I have tried my D90 also and it does the same thing. I've been there too.

so thats why my insurance is so high because novice homeowners or renters with no background try to bite off more than they can chew. The insurance companies just pile these accidents with the pros thus huge premiums. Do us all a favor and educate yourself to make a simple bottom cut and then a top cut. Try sharpening your saw it will also make life easier and try to think about what your doing
