I was trying to match the behind the scenes photos with the actual movies they were shooting lol. Joan was so amazing and her bone structure and beauty is stunning. She pops out of every picture. I especially love the ones with her and Clark Gable. Boy did sparks fly when those two were put together lol. :)

Poor Joan Crawford............she was never able to make the distinction between being a movie star and just a regular person............she never stepped out of the spotlight. But, there was no other actress like her............and assuredly never will be again.

Am amazing face. Almost mannish at some angles, definitely harsh at others, but in the end the camera loved her. She was so much more interesting than most actresses and, above everything else, her intelligent and determination shone through. She was never, ever boring or dumb.
