@cokewentflat What they mean is that you always have a dominant foot in snowboarding weather it be your right or left foot. Your dominant foot is your front and your non-dominant foot is you back foot.

@GarvanTEN wouldn't that depend on the kind of snow you've got? I haven't quite figured it out yet, as my board is very stiff, but I vaguely remember doing something with that kind of pressure on a softer rental board when I first started. - Again, can anyone think of an advantage of moving the feet in opposite directions, and if so under what conditions?

It's very helpful. I was trying to find any snowboarding lessons and it was the only one with good explanation and step by step video. Excellent work!!!
