Thanks for your great reply! I think I know quite a few people who would be interested in playing this on our full size Vierhoven Carom table. Should be fun! Thanks for the rules too.

I like 4 ball carom.

Seems like a fun party game but not having to use three rails makes it kind of easy don't you think? I take it that the second cue ball is not used or is perhaps an object ball to be avoided?
What are the actual rules please?
This would be a good game to learn to prepare you for 3 cushion or English Billiards, both of which are MUCH tougher games.

@Mrphilharmonic You're right,. This game is easier than 3-c.. Only the last point needs to be a 3-c.
Simplified, the rules are that the shooter's cue ball must hit both red balls to make a point without contacting the other player's cue ball. Foul for that and for missing both balls resulting in one point deducted. As mentioned, the last point needs to be a 3-c shot.. The break is like 3-c with the reds at either spot and the opponent's cue ball one diamond behind the foot spot.

Is this really the only place with carom tables in the city? Or just the best one?

@AlbertaSnooker The line is from their business card, but I've been asking around and no one knows another.

My first "movie" using Arcsoft Mediaimpression for Kodak. I'll have to work on having a steadier hand.
