Lister CS running in a sound-proofed shed. All my dad's work - David Barkley.

Exhaust pit and engine mount to original Lister specification. (Shed and sound proofing was never spec'd).

It is amazing how quiet this is, even under the heavist load!

One and a half year's work - nearly done!

  • Just to say the 4,000RPM was a joke. It is 600 RPM for 50HZ Uk power. Thanks for the interest!

  • Great! I live on a 650m2 block right in the heart of a neighborhood and I need to build an enclosure to go around mine so that the neighbors have no idea it's running. Do you use any silencer on the exhaust or just underground poping? does the ground just attenuate the noise completely?

  • Great work! This is virtually exactly what I have been planning on doing with mine, so glad I found your vid! What kind/thickness of soundproofing was used?

  • @steamwally i was going to say that sounds bang on 650

  • Very impressive, that realy is very quiet!

    I don't think it's running at 4000 rpm though! More like 650 :)
