  • Why do uou cut the blank in half with your hotwire? It then looks like you glue in back together.

  • He's cutting the blank in half with a hot wire, and then glues it back together with a wooden stringer down the center of the board. This adds stiffness.

If you've ever tried cutting polystyrene foam with a saw, you'll know that it does not cut cleanly. Using a hot wire, it melts the edges and is absolutely straight.

yup, go for it. copy your favourite board, make whatever changes you want to make and use a fuck load of glass.

dont know where you would get fittings for the board but if you wake surf you prob know somwhere?

  • thank's!

  • its a filler, to stop all the resin souking out of the glass and into the foam when he glasses it.

lots of different stuff can be used, i dont know what hes got. ive only used a glass based powder which you mix with resin.
