We lost a great man!
He may have been human, he may have been flawed. Yet his dream of hope lives on, and the lives he literally saved, between his health insurance coverage of the young, disabled and veterans as well as his peace treaty negotiations with the IRA to end decades of war, along with a great deal of other programs that gave a hand up to many Americans (including the increase to the minimum wage and the devotion to AmeriCorps and the PeaceCorps)

I would respect Ted if he had opened up a hostel for illegal aliens on Martha's Vineyard. HOw about a hospice for Anchor Babies on Cape Cod? NO we never saw this. Support for immigration and diverstiy is in direct porportion to your distance from it. Ted Kennedy opened the gsyrd of hell in 1965 and will meet Mary Jo, but he will also meet the murdered, raped, maimed, robbed men women and children who, minding their own business were forced die for a social experiment from zio-Clown central.

You failed to mention that Millions of poor children in America now have health care because of Ted Kennedy his co-operation with republican Orrin Hatch..
If you can't appreciate someone like Ted Kennedy without being nasty then it says more about who you are as a person than him.

Do away with food stamps? The farming, food manufacturing, grocery retailers factions will never let that happen. Who do you think really benefits from the food stamp program? They are the true winners in the food stamp program. Its one of the biggest corporate welfare programs in the nation. Why don't you think before you write? Wait, I know why. Either you are incapable of thinking or you are so rooted in your ideology you cant see past the end of your nose.
