Recorded in 1989 at SBA. The aircraft in the paint hangar is OD-AGY (cn 19105/499). Built 1966

She was delivered to Braniff in 1966 as N7096, went to Trans Mediterranean Airlines in 1971, leased to Kuwait Airways in 1992, leased to Air Afrique in 1999. Last update I heard, OD-AGY was stored at BEY (all white c/s) not airworthy.

I can't figure out the other TMA reg, if you happen to figure it out, please let me know.

The Hawaiian Air DC-8-62 was built in 1969 (cn 46071/469). Delivered to United Airlines, later went to Arrow Air, Hawaiian Airlines (as seen), Mr Kerry Packe, Benin Government, Jetline Inc and Togo Government.

  • @grego5701, I'm sorry you feel that way! There are a ton of people (including me) that prefer this era over modern airliners.

  • @RyanBomar I count as a couple thousand people myself, so MORE old vids! This is the very reason I subscribed. If anyone wants to watch the majority of generic crap flying today, there are channels for that. (no hard feelings, i watch that too somtimes ;) Mr. Bomar's channel is the best taste of the golden age! When jets were jets and pilots were pilots!

  • A stunning aircraft is the 707 and i wonder if the pilots ever wanted to barrel roll it.LOL.Great stuff mate.

  • Wow! No idea these were painted (and maintained?) in the USA. These mean green metal machines started my passion for aviation when I was a small kid. I watched this bird and other impressive and exotic 707's come in and out of my home airport Ostend (EBOS). I wish I was a bit older and had a camcorder back in the nineties when, like mytmousemalibu put it, 'jets were jets and pilots were pilots!'. Nowadays they even fly a plane that can fly itself into the sea... Redunculous!

  • I do like old airliners, it was a time of fun flying. The Internet is all about preserving the Past, and present, like a virtual time machine.

  • Hi Ryan, this plane looks familiar. Was it used in the movie "SPEED"? The bus explosion scene. Could be wrong...

  • @grego5701 I like old aircraft but you just need to stop watching his videos then...

  • Ryan,Great posting,Keep them coming.

  • Why are those gray sheet covering the 'Lebanon' on the titles?

  • @grego5701 If you dont like old videos, then why did you subscribe to him? lol...

  • Nice.

  • @grego5701 he cant "make old videos" haha retard
