I sort of wonder if the producers of this show got the idea of Marie having a nightmare of Russell turning into a dog from Heather Langenkamp's success as Nancy on Nightmare On Elm Street. I truly think they thought of referencing her classic horror movie remembrance in this episode just to be funny.
