its the backgammon gods punishing the incorrect play of the 4-2 at 0.41.

there is a legal "steal" in backgammon when you "steal a point" from your opponent. Its an advanced trick having to do with match score and getting your opponent to drop what should be a take thereby "stealing" a point. You can google it and read more if interested.

not online. offline yeah they can steal pips steal your wallet or your drinks and smokes but not online. the software enforces the rules.
-
oh so theres no way that my opponent can steal my turns?

the most likely reason for this is that you don't have a cube action decision because the cube is either dead or held by your opponent and none of the numbers you rolled are playable or there is only one move possible and the software forced you to make it.
The dice numbers that the computer choses or itself has nothing to do with math, although - in general - it is true that it can happen to have specific results when exactly you need them.
In the case of 3dfibs, the program choses, in each case, its favorite roll numbers and uses them. This is not backgammon, it is grand cheating. Imagine they use this program in games where real money is at stake.

An expert backgammon player always appears to be "very lucky". This is not cheating. It is a result of making the best checker play for each dice roll.
