Awesome!

Agreed! I'm amazed when people complain about somebody putting his own stamp on a song. They should stick to writing fight songs for the school marching band.
If you really must criticize someone's music video, the only credible way to do it is to throw up a better one. And even then, you'd still be an ass..,,

Madness! I wonder could mister hohner 150 odd years ago imagine that his little instrument for folk tunes would ever be used like this! What would he think if he knew?
Its not perfect, but hell, I wish I could wail like that.
Personally I reckon if you do a cover exactly the same as the original, why bother? The whingers should just listen to the original if thats what they want to hear.
Keep harpin on!

Chris don't even respond to negative criticism your playing is above it your playing speaks for itself and anyone with an ear knows it

Good job, man -- do you BELIEVE some of the comments people leave??
Misery lusts after company.
you realize its played on a harmonica? Do you know this is the first ever recording of it played on the harmonica? The bassist does what he has to make the song sound legit.
The drummer didn't play the correct drum part either. I guess I would be more accepting of your comments IF were trying to copy the record but playing a guitar tune WITHOUT a guitar means it's already going stray from the original.

sigh...the bass is wrong in the beginning. im not sure why everyone thinks it goes like that but it doesnt. the bass through the entire intro just does octaves of E. jimi plays octaves of A# and plays over the bas playing E. then when he goes into the itro riff, hes playing over just octaves of E.

There is nothing wrong with anything...not everybody does it they way it was done on the CD, last I checked he didn't have a harp player with him either.

yes but if you are going to do a cover of a song you might want to get the progression right.

boy, there are a million ways to play a song. Nobody says it has to be the way Jimi played it.
