Dedicated to the memory of Debbie Friedman. Her music crossed generational and denominational lines and carved a powerful legacy of authentic Jewish spirituality into our daily lives. May your music keep you alive forever. Rest in peace 1952-2011.
This rare interview with the premier Debbie Friedman cover band of the early 2000s, Not By Might, has been uncovered and uploaded to YouTube. Enjoy this small, yet insightful, look into the lives of Jason Mesches and Jacob Perlin before they formed Mesch & Cod.

As a Jewish musician here in Raleigh who's had the pleasure of, ummm, "interpreting" Debbie's songs for the past 15 years (including "This is Very Good" and, of course, "Latke" every Chanukah), I can't begin to describe how funny this is. Seriously. This is friggin' brilliant. Literally makes YouTube a worthwhile service. Bravo, gentlemen, bravo!
