Took the opportunity when I was at Crail to put the car on the rollers. Unfortunately the dyno misread on the first run and by the time we did the second the car had been sat about and had oiled the plugs so we din't get a reading :( - you can hear the misfire as soon as he starts loading the engine (about 10 seconds in)

  • LOL

Basically the wiring was shot (one of the jobs that should have been done during the rebuild but never was) which meant it didn't get enough current through so it was a bitch to start, which meant the plugs kept getting damp - cleared up after 5 miles or so of driving .

Is all sorted now - ripped all of the wiring out and started from scratch - and it starts on the button now :)

  • Cool car !

  • Hello, I just love it

    Can I buy it? Andreas

  • why did it oil plugs?

Has it full race cam etc so u need very cold plugs to keep it from detonating etc?

Try them fancy thin tipped plugs made of titanium etc that cost more than my house to buy!

And u have 8 of them!

That'll teach u to have a better car than me! lol.

    LOvely car BTW!
