The Celiac Awareness Tour kicked off its 2010-11 schedule with a very successful stop in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Over 300 people turned out and listened to leading experts discuss Celiac disease, an autoimmune digestive disorder that affects 2.8 million Americans. Attendees also watched celebrity chefs prepare gluten free meals and sampled gluten free products from almost two dozen companies. The Cleveland workshop, presented by Giant Eagle, was the first stop in the five-city Celiac Awareness Tour. Next stop Pittsburgh, followed by Louisville, Columbus, and Cincinnati.
