This is by far my favorite cover of any that I have ever done. I'm really happy with how the parts came out, and was ecstatic that I was able to pull this whole cover off blindfolded in one full take! I really wanted to do something crazy with this cover as everyone has been asking for it for a long time. There are so many good covers of this song, I knew I had to do something crazy, and thats why I brought out the blindfold! Playing drums is a lot of muscle memory so when it comes to playing normal beats being blindfolded isn't much of a problem, but I specifically wrote a lot of the parts so that they challenged me to work harder to be able to overcome the blinfold and still pull the cover off! I also wanted to play parts much differently than the other cover versions I've seen. Every drummer has their own style which makes trying to compare/compete different drummers is really pointless. Luke Holland, Dylan Wood, Dylan Taylor, Kenneth Benson, Ben Anderson etc... they all have great covers of this song, and they all have TOTALLY different playing styles from myself and each other which makes it impossible to compare them. Whichever style you like best is your own opinion :) Just enjoy everyone's talent and willingness to share it with you!
I have never put as much work and time into a drum cover as I did in this one, so I really hope that you enjoy it and can appreciate the work I put in. Usually I just learn and cover a song in 30 minutes to 1 hour, but this time I put in a couple hours of work creating parts and recording until I got the whole video in 1 take.

I give away all of my videos and music for free, but if you'd like to help me make better and cooler videos you can Donate with the link below :)
