Harvey Evans gets the real story from Shelah Hackett Kidd (Michael's widow - who participated in DO40's panel on Michael Kidd in 2009). Shelah was in the chorus of Can-Can the night of Gwen's standing ovation. Also, Harvey Evans describes the naughty dances of New Girl in Town, and how they were the seeds of Fosse's numbers for the movie of Cabaret. Harvey re-enacts the end of Act I and the beginning of Act II, and is so out of breath that Lee Roy Reams has to continue the segment!

  • Another great clip. Excellent example too of Gwen's ability to isolate body parts. Legs, hips, torso, arms, hands and head all separate. Multi skilling freak!
