@petermackett37 I thought he acquired it in the late 70's? It has appeared in his ownership at most every recent GDSF! I saw it at this years and had a look through the back of the organ truck, and saw the bellows and keyframe as well as the snare and woodblock mechanism, (the percussion units are not very easy to see as they are right at the bottom of either side of the front, and painted carvings are obstructing them somewhat!)
@petermackett37 Before then it was owned by Mr Ellison of Heathfield, East Sussex, who imported it into the UK. He also I believe added the painted side panels with rural scenes and lines of poetry about 'Playden on the Sussex Weald'.
@petermackett37 Ted Cushing of course is the son of the late George Cushing, and brother of John Cushing, current manager of Thursford which his dad started. This organ has appeared at Dorset every year in Ted's ownership since the mid 70's, that must be some sort of record!

@petermackett37 Do you know when the bandmaster and clochettes were fitted? They are not seen in early photographs of the organ.
